As we close our Door for now, we hope that among all this stressful worry stemming from our health and economic concerns, we and our friends and neighbors can find some solace in connecting with those around us. Whether we connect through phone conversations, letter writing, or spending time in our homes with family, we hold the global family of humanity in our heart as we take this time to slow down, move through our days with kindness, and remember we are all in this together.

We were so inspired by your generous gift certificate purchases this past week that we have decided to gather 100% of all gift certificate proceeds and give it directly to our team to make up for their severe drop in income during this difficult time. We have also decided that even if we have to get a loan, we pledge to continue covering health insurance payments for all our employees until we are back doing what we do best in good times and bad; offering warm refuge, delicious food, and the magic that our team so diligently puts forth every single day.
